Arabian Nights – the positive energy thatfills every day with happiness
You can tell what your day will be like by the way you start your morning. And any good day always starts with a cup of DelmarTe tea. We suggest you prepare yourself a cup of Arabian Nights for a morning filled with good mood, a boost of energy and confidence that you have taken care of yourself by doing something beneficial for your health.
This fragrant, strong black tea will supply you with everything you need to have a successful day. It is enriched with orange, jasmine and rose flowers and sweet dried cherries. A harmonious tea mix that will fill you with energy and health.
We recommend this fragrant drink for breakfast, because Arabian Nights’ main ingredient is black tea. And everybody knows that black tea provides us with the strongest energy boost!
It has already been proven that of all the Camellia sinensis family teas – white, green, yellow and black, the latter has the highest caffeine content. And that makes it perfect for waking you up and cheering you up.
However, let us reassure everyone who is sensitive to caffeine! Compared to coffee, black tea always has a lower caffeine content. A 240 ml cup of black tea may contain from 40 to 60 mg of caffeine – depending on the tea and its level of oxidation. In a 240 ml cup of coffee there are from 95 to 140 mg of caffeine. The World Health Organization has calculated a recommended maximum daily dose of caffeine of 400 mg. The dose for pregnant women is of 200 mg.

The miracles of black tea
Black tea has many proven positive effects on the human body. One of which is its beneficial effect on the heart. It is rich in antioxidants that fight free radicals and thus reduces the risk of developing chronic diseases.
Some foods and beverages, including black tea, contain antioxidants called polyphenols. They can maintain intestinal health by promoting the growth of positive bacteria. At the same time, they inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria such as salmonella. In combination with the effect of orange blossoms, which promote digestion, you can enjoy an overall increase in your immunity by drinking black tea. This is due to the dact that 70-80% of immunity is in the stomach.
In addition, black tea contains antioxidants catechins, theaflavins and thearubigins, which have a beneficial effect on overall health. Various studies have shown that regular consumption of black tea can diminish the level of bad cholesterol and reduce the risk of stroke. Jasmine, which is among the ingredients of Arabian nights, also fights bad cholesterol.
Like cherries, black tea can lower blood pressure, which is important information for those who suffer of hypertension. Delicious black tea also lowers blood sugar levels.
Black tea for concentration
One of the main positive effects of black tea is that it increases concentration. In addition to caffeine, black tea contains the important amino acid L-theanine. It can improve our ability to focus on our tasks. L-theanine increases alpha activity in the brain, leading to relaxation and better concentration. Thus, on one hand, you enjoy the invigorating effect of caffeine. On the other – the peace of mind that L-theanine brings. It is also enhanced by the extremely fragrant jasmine and roses, which also help to relax and reduce the stress levels.
Let’s not forget that roses also contribute to skin health, and orange blossoms slow down aging.
What better start to a really good day than our Arabian nights?

Egyptian Mint – fragrant infusion that reduces stress
At lunch we usually need a moment to relax and slow our rhythm down for a while. The ideal option would be to do it with a healthy lunch. However, if we have time to onlygrab a quick bite, then a cup of mint tea is like a balm for our stomach and nervous system. A minute or two to breathe deeply, to recharge our battery and then go back to our duties. Our Egyptian Mint tea makes for a fragrant infusion of large leaves from one of the most beneficial herbs.
Sometimes we have to go to work, even when we don’t feel particularly well. Mint tea is also a great first aid for colds and can even lower high temperature. It can ease respiratory problems by relaxing the muscles of the throat and chest. You can be sure that our Egyptian Mint will take care of your entire immune system. How so? Because this powerful herb has exceptional antibacterial properties.
Let’s not forget that mint fights bad breath, especially when you drink it as tea!
This herb with freshly colored green leaves has probably the strongest and most unmistakable scent of all herbs. There are people who just love its intoxicating aroma and others who find it too intrusive. However, we are sure that anyone will gladly confirm that its properties are incomparably diverse. And in our busy daily lives, the fact that mint has a general calming effect and can be beneficial not only for stress but also for depression, makes it just a must-have ingredient for your good day.

White Chocolate and Vanilla – Rooibos – tasty and relaxing end of the day with warm red color
Rooibos tea is the most famous ambassador of South Africa around the world. The bush with the Latin name Aspalathus linearis has been known to the South Africa native population for more than 300 years. Around the world, though, it has gained popularity only in the past twenty years or so. Rooibos does not contain caffeine unlike the Camellia sinensis family teas. This makes it the ideal beverage for a late afternoon or evening.
Translated from Afrikaans rooibos means red tea. For us at DelmarTe, it symbolizes the warm hug we can give ourselves at the end of each day.
White Chocolate and Vanilla – Rooibos will not only help you relax, but will also stimulate your immune system. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in antioxidants. Rooibos lowers the risk of Type 2 diabetes and improves digestion. Keep in mind that there are studies that indicate the ability of rooibos tea to slow down aging. The tea is even quoted to lower the risk of various cancers.
It is especially important to mention for the ladies that rooibos contains the flavonoids orientin and luteolin. And it is them that increase the content of minerals in the bones. Thus, it lowers the risk of osteoporosis. And another good news: rooibos also is beneficial for skin and hair with its alpha-hydroxy acids and antioxidants.
White chocolate and vanilla – Rooibos will witness relaxing moments with your friends or family. It will be there when you just want to leave behind the day that had just ended. The combination of vanilla and rooibos will make your heart stronger, and white chocolate will lift your mood.
We close the circle with a tea that takes care of your heart. Yes, just as the one that we have started it with. Discreet, slightly sweet taste, with the characteristic notes of tea made as if from pine needles and a subtle vanilla aroma.
What more do you need for a really good day than our three teas?!
If you have a health problem or need treatment, we recommend that you seek medical advice from a qualified and certified doctor or pharmacist. Do not self-medicate, even if it is only with herbs!
